Hi Beth,
Sounds like Will was having a tough time. How frustrating it must have been trying to get help for him. How is he doing now?

Will is non verbal but speaks volumes when he is unhappy. He will act agitated, pacing very fast and stomping his feet. He will become self abusive with head banging and hand biting. He will make sounds like he is in pain. Won't attend to toys etc as usual. Just overall quite grumpy. When he is feeling good everything changes. He plays, makes happy sounds, explores but doesn't stomp etc.

Wow, what a big guy Will is! I am glad you were able to get an explanation for some of his pain. I was just wondering - how did you know he was having pain? That is one thing I worry about alot with Ben since he may never be able to verbalize pain to us.
